Aztec Creation Myth

As of recent, I've been putting in a lot of time researching Mesoamerican mythology and culture for my Spanish 320 class. One popular myth is the Creation of the 5 Suns, which can be found in Aztec folklore. Although my comic only tells a small fraction of one of the events in the story, I just felt like highlighting.  I also wanted to try my hand at the designs used in the codices for some of the outfits, just for this comic. Needless to say, it was fun! 

Sorry for all the delays in updates, btw, school's been kickin' my butt. But stay tuned for more art after I finally graduate college! In fact, I'm going to be working on a new novel involving Mesoamerican mythology!
