I just realized that I had yet to color Kazimierz and Kasia, digitally. 
And since their story takes place in a medieval area, I decided to base it off one of my favorite illumination images from the Codex Manesse. -->www.pinterest.com/pin/32862210… It's a large book of poetry made in Zurich around 1304-5. Each image, including this one, depicts one of the poets in the book. (Codex Manesse, UB Heidelberg, Cod. Pal. germ. 848, fol. 249v)
I had a good time designing these two, and it's been so long since I've drawn them, not to mention, I'm still on the road to designing decent backgrounds, and since the image didn't have much to go off of, it left a lot of interpretation open.
For those who are unaware, their story takes place in a fictional setting based of distinguishable traits of Slavic culture and Polish history.
